Shetland Pony Stud Book

The APSB is the sole registering body for the purebred Shetland Pony in Australia

The Shetland Pony was one of the initial pony breeds to have its own section within the Society’s Stud Book when the first volume was printed in 1936.

Volume One also recorded the bloodlines of those Shetlands imported from Scotland in the decades prior to the establishment of the APSB in 1931.

Since day one, the APSB has followed the registration requirements of the mother stud book and we proudly acknowledge the respected association between the APSB Society and the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society U.K.
